St. Margaret's is very proud of its uniform. School dress isencouraged and pupils are expected to wear it. It consists of a blackblazer, trousers/skirt, white shirt/blouse, school sweatshirt andtie. Items of uniform are available in chain stores and local shops.Ties, sweatshirts and badges are available from the school office.They are reasonably priced and offer good value for money.
In general, pupils' dress and appearance should reflect a focussedapproach to their work in school. This excludes clothes which are toocasual or gaudy, carry slogans or display badges. Jerseys, scarves,badges, stickers or pins relating to football teams are totallyforbidden. The wearing of denim jackets and jeans is not allowed inschool and, for safety reasons, the wearing of certain items ofjewellery is discouraged.
