Pupils have the opportunity to experience a full and varied rangeof physical activities.

In S1/2 all youngsters take part in the following areas:
Pupil progress is continually assessed using grade relatedcriteria.
When taking part in physical education pupils are expected to wearwhite top, black shorts, sports socks and training shoes (no blacksoles). A towel is a necessary part of PE kit as pupils will beexpected to shower after physical activity.

In S3/4 activities covered in the early years are furtherdeveloped along with others such as badminton, indoor tennis andtable tennis. Those who show a special aptitude or interest in thesubject can elect to follow the Standard Grade PE course in S3/4.
