St. Margaret's Academy has a wide and growing range of extracurricular activities. Details of some are given under relevantsubject departments, notably music, outdoor and physical education.However, extra curricular activities often involve staff inactivities very different to their normal teaching subject. They canalso involve non teaching staff such as librarians, technicians,janitors and the School Office.
Many activities are enhanced by parental help, for example bydriving pupils to and from sports fields, or venues whereperformances are taking place. Relatively few of our pupils go homeat lunchtime and some activities take place then.
Most of these run from 3.35-5.00 pm approximately apart from thelunchtime quiz league, (Miss Russell, Mrs Laing) garden club (MrBoylan) and most music practices. Pupils wishing to join any of theseclubs should see the teacher in charge and should collect and returnthe appropriate parental consent form:
