High School

This morning six pupils from St Andrews High School are joining us here at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre. The pupils will be helping to add to the web pages already created yesterday by the pupils from Richmond Park School in Glasgow.

St Andrew's was chosen because of its strengths in curriculum and management.

The pupils from St Andrews High School joined us today because they are Europe's only secondary school ACOT site. ACOT is about working with teachers to change classroom culture. This involves larger numbers of computers and the design of classrooms to accommodate them.

The ACOT teachers spent one week in May, sitting in at West High School, Columbus, Ohio for a special training week.
